At New Edition School (NES), we believe that education is most effective when parents and educators work hand-in-hand. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) serves as a vital bridge between the school and families, ensuring that every child’s learning journey is nurtured by both academic guidance and parental support.

The NES PTA is a vibrant, inclusive body that reflects our core belief in community, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

What the PTA Does:

  • Facilitates Communication:
    The PTA provides a platform for open dialogue between parents, teachers, and school leadership — helping to align goals and resolve concerns.

  • Supports School Development:
    Through ideas, volunteering, and fundraising, the PTA actively contributes to improving school infrastructure, student resources, and event planning.

  • Represents Parental Voice:
    It serves as a respectful forum for parents to express opinions, share feedback, and help shape decisions that affect the school community.

  • Promotes Student Welfare:
    The PTA plays an active role in promoting student safety, discipline, and overall well-being through advocacy and collaborative initiatives.

  • Strengthens Community Bonds:
    Regular PTA meetings, workshops, and events foster unity and encourage meaningful relationships among families and staff.

PTA Meetings

PTA meetings are held regularly each term, with advance notice given to all parents. These sessions provide important updates, highlight upcoming activities, and offer opportunities for collective decision-making.
