Our Story: The Journey of New Edition Schools (NES)
From a Vision of Impact to a Growing Community of Excellence
New Edition Schools, located at Biakoye, Kasoa, was founded by Mr. Ken Donkoh with a powerful vision: to nurture children into mature, respectful, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals who will grow to positively impact their communities and the world.
At the core of this vision is our unwavering motto:

This guiding principle reflects our mission to make excellent learning experiences accessible to all, regardless of background — ensuring every child receives a strong foundation for lifelong success.
Humble Beginnings
On Tuesday, 17th January 2022, New Edition Schools opened its doors for the very first time, welcoming 33 pioneering learners — each full of potential, hope, and promise. Accompanying them was a passionate team of 16 founding staff members, dedicated to laying the groundwork for what has now become a thriving institution.
The early days were marked by strong values, purposeful teaching, and a shared commitment to building a school culture rooted in discipline, unity, and innovation.
Growth and Transformation
Since its inception, New Edition Schools has grown tremendously — in numbers, impact, and influence. Today, the school proudly serves:

Over 800 students across Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior High, and an upcoming Senior High Department

A skilled, passionate team of more than 150 staff members, including educators, administrators, and support personnel

A dual-curriculum model, combining the Ghana Education Service (GES) standards with elements of the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) for a global learning experience
Guided by our unique mantra —

we deliver a well-balanced education that is both challenging and enjoyable, with a focus on academic strength, character development, and creative exploration.
We also promote competitive cooperation, encouraging students to strive for excellence in academics, sports, music, leadership, and the arts, while learning the values of teamwork, respect, and social responsibility.

With the planned launch of our Senior High School Department, New Edition Schools is expanding its vision and capacity to serve learners through every stage of their educational journey.
